transitions etc that are unique to 2002. Before you start your
creating your presentation, click on Tools, Options, Edit, and
checkmark at the bottom all the items under the heading "Disable new
features. Your presentation should then work just fine under 97.
Turning off the new features under Tools/Options/Edit actually takes you
back to what is essentially "PPT 2000 mode." So yes, the presentation should
work fine under 97 as long as you don't use things specific to 2000 that
aren't supported in 97. That would include, oh, animated GIFs and picture
bullets and the like.
I think animated GIF is probably the big one, but here are the others I
could find.
