wifi+bluetooh

can anyone help me, ive got win xp with wifi and i have a
bluetooth mobile, can i connect the two, or do i need some
sort of extra kit.

As I understand it;

It depends what you mean by connect the two. You can connect your bluetooth
mobile to your computer if you have a bluetooth enabled computer. (ie
bluetooth dongle or built in bluetooth). You can use bluetooth and wifi at
the same time.

Bluetooth is a different specification and standard (802.15) than wifi
(802.11) so if you are asking if you can connect your bluetooth device to a
wifi network, the answer is no. If you are asking if you can transfer files
etc. from your wifi connected laptop to a bluetooth device connected to
that same laptop, the answer is yes.

You can also create a bluetooth network with your bluetooth devices but
this network will be separate from your wifi network.
