Dear Everybody,

My new computer with Windows XP Home is a widescreen.

While it's great for many applications, it tends to stretch out my pictures
horizontally (example, a photo of a magazine cover looks square instead of
the ntural vertical shape).

I checked the Support Center, and couldn't find any topics.

If anybody has any idea of how I can temporarily switch from widescreen to
standard screen shape, I would greatly appreciate it. (Note: Minimizine the
Window does not change the shape of the pictures).

I thank you in advance for your kink assistance.

Sincerely,
Steve

I'm guessing your monitor came with a user's manual?
Check the manual for how to adjust the display mode.
There may be buttons on the front of the monitor or
there may be an on screen menu you can access.

Maybe the following article will be informative:

What is aspect ratio?
