I'm trying to access a webcam service on the following
website http://www.comunitatvalenciana.com/ however, since
converting from Windows 98se over to XP, I cannot open the
webcams page - it seems as though it tries to but then
fails.

The same problem also occurs when I try and open up some
thumbnails on
http://www.vivaestates.com/vivaestates/viva/SEARCH/viva_sea
rch.asp which appear to have been coded using Java.

The most obvious solution would be to ensure that the Java
settings are configured correctly but they are.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, all
previous attempts have failed and it's baffling three or
four of us here.

Thanks

Another Browser may help too - very different Java set as
well - Mozilla Firefox 0.8 - Some web functions may not
display correctly, but I find the most interactive sites
work best in Firefox.

Easy to find and download, pretty small (relative to IE),
runs side by side w/ IE if you prefer - no adjustments.

MUCH BETTER popup blocking, etc - no add-ons to install. I
found that the Java needs to run an update after you
install the browser - some Java web pages may not cause the
"update" to initiate - Yahoo Games pages DO cause the
update to initiate.
