why won't the fraction 1/3 autoformat in word like 1/2?

1/2 and 3/4 automatically convert into factions in word... why won't 1/3
auto-format? What do I need to do to format it to match the 1/2 and 3/4?
 
Go to microsoft.com., then click on click on Support/Knowledge Base. This
brings you to Search Help and Support. Seach for KB 137734, then click on WD
How to insert franctions... You can then save the article to My Support
Favorites for your further reference if you want.
