Why we must set the Boot Partition Size, for a small boot
disk, in Target Designer Target Device Setting?
What is the impact on the target if Boot Partition Size is
wrong (bigest than the real target) ?

Hi Steven,

You will have license violation error if you do not do so in non eval version. (The size does not to be exact)
I would like to know reason why MS choose to use this "protection" except to make us some additional problems.

I tend to think of this as a bug, as nobody at MS can really explain it. :-)
If you set the partition size too small or exact to the physical, it will
throw the license error. set it bigger (usually about 1GB) and you are fine.
I have not seen an issue when setting it larger, to date.

There are several threads that discuss this, even one yesterday, I
believe... :-)
