I didn't have an idea where to ask this question but since I use outlook for
all my mail this is where I ended. For the past several months I am
receiving more and more junk email that consists of lists of unconnected
words and groups of letters that mean nothing. Not only does the subject
have unrelated words but the subject also has many more words and
unfathomable phrases. What is the idea of these? Are they dangerous? Do they
contain viruses etc. Sometimes the subject is a normal subject but when I
click on it to read it it continas all these meaningless sentences.

Welcome in the world of SPAM. What version of Outlook are you using? If
Outlook 2003 picture blocking and the spam filter will help you in your
trouble. If a previous version of Outlook it's best you delete them before
opening so that the spammers can't see that your address is "alive" by means
of the pictures you download. In this case I advise you to use a spamfilter
like MailWasher as well.

Also; never post your real address on an "open" website and in newsgroup.
Lots of spammers use them to collect valid addresses.
