Why suddenly all the "Re:" posts?

Suddenly it seems that the vast number of posts are top layer "Re:"
responses to other questions vs. the replies being posted 'beneath' the
original question. Why?

Not a clue. But it's really annoying, isn't it? (Especially since a lot of
people don't quote any of the original question, so I've no idea what
they're talking about...)
 
I think it must be inexeprienced use of the web interface. Or some newsbot
gone bad (Hmmm, new video series? ). You should see the Windows Media
Player group. I troll there every day just to get a chuckle.
