why powerpoint resizes all my graphics when I import a new one

I have several BMP graphics on a powerpoint slide, and I have resized them
to fit nicely. Now, when I import a new BMP, all of the other images
mysteriously return to their original sizes. This is maddening! I just
don't understand Microsoft at all.

Go to Tools > Autocorrect Options > AutoFormat As You Type and uncheck the box
next to "Automatic layout for inserted objects" at the bottom. Then try
inserting a new image.

Sounds like it might work. Thanks. You should mention this in the PP Help
-- indexed under "resizing" so I could have found it. Thanks. -- Dave

Sonia is not a Microsoft employee. She's a volunteer here, just like all of
us here on this newsgroup.

Sorry about that. I saw "Microsoft" under Sonia's name, and I thought
"murder! kill! death!" Just kidding. Not really. Is there a bug-report
page where I could alert the Microsoft forces to the inadequacy of their
documentation? Thanks. -- Dave

Ya done good. Thanks!

As Steve mentioned, you've already done the deed. Posting a suggestion on
htis group is exactly the way to do it.
