Why no mention in tech rags???

We all know here ... after the fact ... about the problems with the
KB835732 update from hell. But I'm wondering why there has been no
mention of this very costly and widespread problem in the tech rags?

Possibly because their content is prepared several months in advance of
publication. For many magazines, something that happens in April can't
appear in print before the July issue (which appears sometime in June).

Some of the computer sales people at Best Buy and CompUSA are aware of
it too.

Can anyone provide me with further information on problems
caused by the below mentioned "Patch from Hell"?
