Why need to repiar lan connection

When i disconnect the Lan connection in Lap top after some time when i
connect the Lan but it dont works when i repair the lan connection it star
working . Each time when i connect i have to rpair lan connection.What is the
Permanent solution

What happens, exactly, when you reconnect the cable? Do you get an IP
address? Have you checked your event logs, and updated your NIC driver, and
patched Windows fully?
