Why is the track changes colour for 3 reviewers the same?

I have a MS Word document which has been reviewed and changed by 3 different
people. The mark-up has the colours the same for each reviewer.

How do I change the colours for each reviewer so they're different?
 
If you have Word 2002 or 2003, then have you selected "By author" color
in Tools | Options | Track Changes?
 
In fact, the "By Author" setting is available (AFAIK) in all versions of
Word.
