why is send & receive keep sending me all my emails ever?

Everytime I hit send & recieve I get all the emails I have ever recieved into
my email inbox. Is there a way to stop this? I just want today's not
yesterday's and the day befores. I also would like to know how to set it up
to send & recieve automatically upon opening.

What version of Outlook are you running and what mode (Corp/Workgroup,
Internet Mail Only, etc.) do you have it installed in? If you're not
sure, check Help | About.

Do you have your mail connector set to leave a copy on the server?
