why is my worksheet showing formulas instead of the actual number

i'm stuck and i hope someone can help... i have a workbook with 5 worksheets
on it... each worksheet has formulas and macros... i must note that i didnt
set up this up... anyway each of the first four pages work fine... i'll add
numbers to in, hit F9 and and the cells with formulas will calculate if
properply... on the fifth page i have links and formulas to the first 4
pages...

this is where i have a problem... the fifth page will only show the the
formulas and links... not the numbers that are calculated on the first 4
pages... i've tried to highlight the page and format cells to numbers, but
that doesnt work...

example:

in a cell on worksheet 5 it will say "=worksheet3! +b6" ... instead "85"

i guess what i'm saying is how do i make it show the calculated number
instead of the formula...
