Why is my read receipt message different to my wife's though we u.

My wife and I both use the same version of Outlook on different machines.
Our read receipt messages are different. Why? It seems you can't edit these
read receipts. Why not?

Since the read receipts are generated by the recipient systems, perhaps it's
the recipient systems that are generating the difference in format.

are (or were) identical when purchased and built to our specs, using
the same discs, so should be loaded with identical application
software: still hers generates a different receipt message to mine;
