I am having problems with my computer randomly shutting down. I am not always on the internet, I have noticed that. It is also running slowly. I figure it has a virus...but how do I fix it??? Is there a website I can go to and get it fixed for free? I have McAffee and have been running it frequently and updating it...I don't know what else to do. Please help.

Have you tried running Disk Cleanup and Defragmenting
your computer? Both are under Start-Accessories-System
Tools. That might help with the slowness.

Is your hard drive making any grinding noises? It could
be your hard drive is not spinning correctly. The only
time I've ever had my computer shut down is when it just
turned off because the power supply was bad. Does it
shut down or just turn off?
