When checking 'folder properties' by right clicking on a folder ....the
attributes show the No. of files and folders. But why is a compressed folder
counted or read as a File and not a Folder
cheers thanks Pete

"compressed folder" is a name that microsoft gave to ZIP files.
Zip files are the term that is more correct, because they are actually a
file that includes all the other files
in a compressed form.
