Why i can't insert excell wokbook in a Word document

In a Word Document I can't insert an Excell workbook as an object. In Word
2002 i could do that.

I do have the Excell installed and of course Microsoft Excell Worksheet is on the list.Iwould like to inform you that i had before the office 2002 and i didn't had any problem with Excell or Word. I have this problem now that i changed to Office 2003.

And do you get some kind of error message? What is it, EXACTLY?

When i insert an excell file in a word doc. the excell file appears but i cannot get in and modify (work with it), the message <Word cannot open the document: user does not have access privileges> appears . When i copy an excell file then i open the Word , paste special , paste as an excell woksheet no message appears in fact nothing happens at all.

From the sound of it, I'd say you have third-party software that's
interfering with Word. The Norton Anti-virus Office Plugin would be an
example. It could also be something that manages files on your system.

If you start Windows in SAFE MODE does the problem persist?

I disabled or unistalled all the third-party softwares that you are reffered to , i started and run Windows in safe mode too but the problem still persists.
