Why I can't change numbering level by TAB in ms word 2007

In mutlilevel numbering, I was able to use TAB and SHIFT + TAB for changing
the numbering level in ms word 2003, but I can't use this shortcut in 2007,
can anyone tell me how to have it back please, thank you.
 
Word Options - Proofing tab - AutoCorrect Options - AutoFormat As You Type
tab. Enable the penultimate option, Set left- and first-indent with tabs and
backspaces.
