Why don't my contact folders show when importing from Excel?

When attempting to import my Excel data base into my contacts folders the
screen that use to allow me to select the folder I want to upload it to only
has archived folders available. Does anyone know what I should do to change
this? I can't seem to find an answer.
 
I tried this two or three times yesterday in 2003 and did not get anything
different. Any other suggestions?

When you said that in Outlook 2002 you could click the folder then import....
That comment sparked more thought.
I'm not sure if it actually helped any but I had to make some changes to 03
to be able to save my email templets (uncheck word 03 as editor) so I checked
to see what status those check boxes where in - I unchecked both word 03
boxes under mail format, opened the contacts folder I wanted to import to and
the issue I had resolved.

Thank you for your help. Thank you especially for replying - you were the
only one. I really do appreciate it! (I wish there was a spell check on
this screen - I'm not use to paying too much attention to spelling anymore)
