Why does this newsgroup not work properly for me????

I have a couple of problems in using this forum via support.microsoft.
com/newsgroups. Firstly, my login via Microsoft Passport keeps timing out -
and I can't find any info on how to control this. Rather confusingly, the
message I get when trying to open a specific forum in these circumstances
tells me that the forum is "not available at present" and suggests that I try
later. The first time I hit this problem, I kept trying over a period of 2 or
3 days before I found out that my Passport login had timed out. As soon as I
login again the forum becomes available. Very irritating .......

Secondly, but only since yesterday, I have been unable to view the content of
any post. I am also unable to raise a new question.

Neither of these problems has ever occurred on the 'clone' site
www.accessmonster.com. Can anyone help, please?
 
My suggestion would be to give up on the web interfaces, and use proper
newsreader software

You probably already have Outlook Express on your machine, or you can get
something else like Forte.

Point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com, and your problems will likely
go away.
