Why does the Task Manager think I have two processors?

The Task Manager - Performance tab, View menu, CPU History item - thinks my
computer has two processors, and will graph their usage separately. But my
computer has only one processor, really!

Anyone know what's going on?

Do you have a new computer with hyper-threading? If so, that appears as
two processors to the operating system.

Could it be one of those new multi-threaded Intel jobbies?

Ah, that must be it.

Thanks, guys!
