Why does Outlook 2000 not start up?

Anybody got a clue why Outlook 2000 would suddenly not start up using either
the short-cut on desktop or by going to Programs/Microsoft Outlook? If I go
to Start/Run, I can enter "outlook /safe" and it comes up fine, with full
functionality. I've tried checking everything with Norton Antivirus,
AdAware, and Spybot (because sometimes I do get "mom-spam" that's
contaminated), and everything checks out clean.

I've deleted all the messages I've sent or received since the problem arose
(yesterday afternoon, so it wasn't too bad) and emptied the Deleted Items
folder, run Detect and Repair multiple times, downloaded all the pertinent
updates for both Windows Me and Outlook 2000, and even un-installed and
re-installed Office 2000.

What am I missing here? Starting from the command prompt is okay but a
minor pain in the neck, if there's something I can fix I want to do so.

Thanks,

It's likely you have an add-in that is conflicting. In Safe Mode, open the
Add-in Manager and the COM Add-Ins, note what you see so you can add them in
again later, and remove them. If Outlook starts normally, you know it was
one of the add-ins.

Thanks! That was it. Somehow the "Net Folders" add-in got checked and was
causing the problem.

I appreciate the help!
