When I click on a graph it takes some time to "install Microsoft Graph
feature" so that I can edit the graph. Can I make this any quicker or
permanently install the feature so that I don't have to install it each time?

I don't know whether this'll help but the first I'd try is Help, Detect & Repair.
You may need your original Office CD at some point.

I actually did find a solution some time ago and quite honestly I can't
recall what it exactly was. I am pretty sure that I had to put in my MS
Office CD and then click "add/remove programs" at which point I installed
some graphing feature from the CD. It was going to take up quite a bit of
space on my hd but that was O.K. for me as I have plenty of space - but that
may be why MS doesn't install it at the initial installation stage.

Thanks for the assistance and I hope that it helps others...

Paul

Solved the problem by removing and reinstalling Microsoft Graph

(Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003> Change > Add or Remove Features > Next > check "Choose advanced customization of applications" > Next > Office Tools > Microsoft Graph > select "Not Available" > Update)

Thanks for posting that, Paul.

Could you take a look here and see if this accurately reflects what you've done?
If so, I'll add it to the FAQ:
