Why does INCOMING email show the wrong date?

All my messages that arrived today and yesterday show dates from 6/2004.
Even a test message that left my outbox with the date 2/7/2005 arrived back
to me with the date of 6/23/2004. The computer's date is correct as is all
outgoing mail. Only incoming mail is effected.

Contact your e-mail service provider. Their clock is wrong.
