When I clicked on a web site address on a Word document it chnged colour and
I can't change the colour back to black - why and how?

Hyperlinks in Word by default are formatted with the Hyperlink character
style. After you click on them, they change to the Followed Hyperlink style.
You can remove the Hyperlink style (with Ctrl+Spacebar), or you can modify
*both* Hyperlink and Followed Hyperlink styles to be Default Paragraph Font
(i.e., Automatic or black).

This is a function of the way Windows responds to hyperlinks and the cached
internet pages held by Windows and not a function of Word - unless you want
to change the hyperlink to plain text - in which case select the link and
press CTRL+SHIFT+F9.- but then it will no longer work as a link.
