When I try to use this product I receive an error message. Business contact
manager cannot access the database. SQL Server does not exist or access is
denied. I also cannot create a database. Why? What do I need to do?

what product?
what error message?
cannot create what database?
sounds like if its an Access database, it's trying to link to a SQL server
table. You will need the link set up and you will need security rights to SQL
server.

Dorian.

SQL Server (or rather MSDE) is the database that stores the data in BCM.

You either have not installed it, or it is not running. Check your services
to see if you have a service called MSSQLServer, and if so, make sure its
started.
