Why do the "experts"assume everyone has gpedit?

As above, a lot of"experts"go on about using gpedit in windows but seem to
forget it is NOT part of XP Home,cannot be used with and will not run with.
Why don't they say "IF you have XP Pro then use"
NOT everyone has XP Pro(yes some people have it even when they do not need
it).........

You take the never posted words right out of my mouth!! I too have
often wondered that!

Maybe they are not experts after all if they do not know, or forget,
that there are two versions of Win XP!!!
 
Perhaps you are right but what are you suggesting? Should all the
contributors here stop helping others because there is a chance they may
either make a mistake or overlook something?

Not at all - but a short note that a feature is only available in XP
Pro would be helpful!!!
