why do my recipients get a security message?

I am being told that recipients with ISP mailboxes such as Road Runner, AOL
etc. are unable to open my e-mails. They get a message that my mail may be
harmful to their computer. Can anyone tell me what's going on and how I can
cure it? I can send anything I want to recipients using Outlook as their
e-mail but not to the others. This makes Outlook as a e-mail client rather
useless to me if I cannot send information to those without office as their
client.

When do they get this message?
Version of Outlook?
Does it also happen when you send in Plain Text?
