The following tables just appeared in my databases. Why?

MSysAccessObjects, MSysAccessXML, MSysACEs, MSysIMEXColumns, MSysIMEXSpecs,
MSysObjects, MSysQueries, and MSysRelationships

In the Tools/Options/View you can uncheck "System Objects" if you do not
wish to see those tables.

If you want to remove this tables from the table list, in the menu bar select
Tools > Options > View > Uncheck the systems table Object

Someone must have checked it

It sounds like you have your view options set to view system objects.
Click Tools -> Options..., go to the View tab, and un-check system
objects and (if necessary) hidden objects.
