One computer that I work on keeps receiving the same email twice or 4 times.
Why is that?
Cheers
Lenny

Outlook 2003, POP3 accounts. ADSL connection, check for emails every 2
minutes.

Change mail checking interval to 10 minutes, and do you have an AV set to
scan incoming/outgoing mail? If yes, disable the mail scanning part.

Thanks Milly
I have Symantec AV, I am not sure about its mail scanning setting, I will
look. I thought that is wasn't set. Also the other 30 computers that have
the same set up and receive their emails from the same POP3 server are all
set up to check every 2 minutes but they don't receive duplicates.

Are you leaving messages on the server? When you get duplicates, do you
get *all* of the mail on the server again, or just some of it?
