why cant i use ms word

i had a virus on my computer and managed to remove it but now i cant access
ms word or any other ms documents. will i have to install it all again or is
there a way to open up the existing files?
 
can u please tell me the way to do it. i dont know how to get to ms word

Microsoft's Help system has landed you in the wrong newsgroup: this

and navigate through the tree on the left side of the screen
(English... Office... Word... some appropriate newsgroup dealing with
Word).
