Why can't I right click while in MS Outlook InBox to move items?

I can no longer right click in MS Outlook from In Box to move, delete, etc.
I've searched the Help featurers and on-line but no success. Any ideas?

And on WHICH version of Windows?
And for WHAT type of e-mail account?
