why can I not delete files from search

Why can I not delete files from within the search utility. Whenever I try to
delete something it is added to the list instead of being deleted, it is
really annoying, why doesn't the file just disappear!!!

Use Shift + Delete and it won't show up in the Recycle Bin, where I imagine,
you're seeing it appear again.
