Why are the attachment sent change its extention to .BIN or .DAT?

Whe I send an attachment (exel, word, powerpoint, etc), it´s received as a
file with the same name ans size but with the extention ".BIN" or ".DAT".
Somebody know how can I solve it? Thk

Change the format of your message to plain text or HTML. Do not use rich
text format.
