Why are my JPEG email attachments changed to DAT files in transmi.

When I attempt to send jpeg file to various recipients using Outllok 2002 as
my email application they are frequently changed to DAT files. How do I
prevent this from happening?

Stop using rich text format as your message format. Use either plain text or
HTML.
