Hello,

We have a NDIS-WDM Driver for a USB 1.1 Network Device.

Which all tests should we run for WHQL pre-testing, for example USB Test
Assertions, Driver Quality Test Assertions, and Network Driver test
assertions. Should the USB test assertions be run for this Network Device.
This doubt is because the driver is a Network (NDIS) driver and does not
understand the USB commands.

Also, where do we find the setup for the USB 1.1 Network Device WHQL
testing.

Thanks in advance,

Best Regards,

GNR

Raj,

You can find the tests required for the USB and NDIS drivers from the
WHQLNET home page located at:
http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/hwtest/device/default.mspx?area=network

The USB tests are included in HCT 11.2 and HCT 9.6 kits. For Windows 2000,
(HCT9.502) you will need to follow the test procedures which will tell you
to download the PC99 USB kit. All test assertions are provided in the
HCTHelp.chm for HCT11.2.

If you need more help, you can contact our email alias direct at:
WHQLNET at Microsoft.com

Thanks,
