who can help with kb330089 patch?

windows knowledge base article 330089 explains that some self-extracting programs may not run after sp1 is installed. i cannot install the scanner drivers for my xerox xk35c because the self-extracting program freezes. can anyone get the microsoft patch that fixes this problem for me? please email it to (e-mail address removed), thanks
