Over the past week, pictures and ad banners are not
showing up. All I see are white boxes with a red X, or
part of the page will say action cancelled. This happens
in my email and on many sites that I visit everyday. I've
checked to see if there are any updates I need, but there
aren't any. PLEASE help! Thanks.

First thing to try is deleting your Temporary Internet Files. In Internet Explorer, click on Tools, select Internet Options, then click on the Delete Files button. Depending on the size of the TIF cache, it could take several minutes to delete all the files. Once that is done, you might want to reduce the size of the cache by clicking on the Settings button. If you have a broadband connection, TIF is not of much benefit -- I usually set my at 5 MB. If you have a dial-up connection, you might want a little bigger setting, I suggest 20 MB.
