Which VirtualDub?

I downloaded two VirutalDub programs shown below. What are the differences
between them, if any, and which one is preferred. I plan to edit and join
some videos.

1. VirtualDub-1.6.12.zip

2. VirtualDubMod_1_5_10_1_All_inclusive.zip

VirtualDubMod is slightly better, that is, it handles multiple audio streams
and has some tweaks original VDub doesn't have.
