I have 3 partitions on my HDD, C, D & E. The OS is in 'C', Data in 'D' &
Programs in 'E'. When I had a recent problem installing a Windows Security
Update, Microsoft recommended I change the registry to point to programs on
'C'. I did this & the update installed fine. My programs are all working fine
although I did have some initial shortcut problems & my registry optimizer
finds 250 or so shortcut errors (which I ignore). My question is: Should I
leave the registry pointing to programs on 'C' or change it back to 'E'?
Thank you for any help
