I have a problem with a USB2 hub, (see posting on Aug
7),with my fujitsu siemens scenic L - approx 12 months
old - I still can't figure whether the motherboard
supports USB2 or not. How can I - 1) Determine which
motherboard I have, 2) Decide on whether it supports
USB2 - I have no manual for the motherboard, 3) Update
to USB2 if the motherboard only supports USB1?

Thanks for any help you can give.

Hi Chas,

If the board doesn't support USB2, then you must get an addon card (PCI).

Hi,

Have you opened your computer and looked at the mother
board? Most will have the name of the manufacturer written
on it somewhere and maybe even the model. If you can find
this then you can go to the manufacturer's website and get
the details of that model.

Good luck,

Lynn

And if you can't, look for the FCC ID number, and search on THAT - you
should at *least* be able to find the manufacturer from thet.
