Which Micrososft Security Bulletin's installed?

Does anyone know a utility or procedure for checking which
Microsoft Security updates are installed on a W2K
workstation or server? That is, how could I tell for
instance if MS04-007 security patch is/isn't installed?

You could use the MBSA utility from Microsoft or go to www.shavlik.com and
get hfnetchk.

Yes, or go to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com, or read the article on
ms04-007 at www.microsoft.com/technet/security/current.asp to see how to
check for the existence of the patch. MBSA is probably the most reliable of
all the above ways to confirm patches, but
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com is perhaps the easiest.
