3.7 cats seem to be the most friendly all around drivers for my retail 8500.
I don't know if they are any faster/slower than the others.

I was quite happily using 3.8 with an AIW 8500DV up until a few weeks
ago when I chucked in an AIW 9800SE.

I use 2.4.74a omega drivers. I can't comment on gaming though mind you this
is my win2k pro machine with rad 8500 and i don't game on this i have a xp
pro system for gaming.
