Which copy of Win2K???

Hi everyone...

I have two copies of Windows 2000 pro installed on two
computers. One of them is going to be upgraded to XP
freeing up the license for one of the Win2K copies. I
didn't document which one went on which computer. Is
there any way to tell which one will be free when I do
the upgrade?

get the w2k key in both computers and compare them with your installation
discs.
There is a utility to get the key (keyfinder.exe). I'm not sure where to get
in the web, but if you want I can email it to you.

Make sure the WinXP is not an "Upgrade" version or the Win2k won't be
available to use elsewhere.
