Here goes,

I have a "Yamaha Motif 6" Keyboard and I've connected it
via Optical Cable to my "Creative Extigy" Sound Card. This
is so that all music recorded on my PC (Running Windows XP)
Is in digital with zero noise.

Here's my problem:

When I go to accessories and select volume control, then
chosing "Wave In" (recording) there isn't an option for
S/PDIF-In. It's available for the out-bound music, but not
inbound.

Is there an program/interface that will allow me to record
via an S/PDIF-In channel?

Thanks for the help.

Double click on the loudspeaker icone in the systray > Options > Properties
Recording > check/tick the S/PDIF box > OK and away you go.

Cheers,
Jerry

Thank you Jerry, but the problem lies when I open up the
loud speaker in the systray and then go to > Options >
Properties> Recording > , there is no S/PDIF box,
only "Line In", "What You Hear", "Wave-MIDI-CD" and
Microphone.

There is no option for SPDIF recording.

Does anyone here know what I can do?
