Wheres my shutdown button gone?! :(

I had finished surfing the net for the day and went to shutdown to discover
that my shutdown option is gone! There is no button anymore and I dont want
to keep logging off my computer using ctrl-alt-del everytime. I cant
shutdown, log off or restart :( Can somebody please help me?!

Check out Microsoft Knowledge Base article no. 307882
it explains how to get your "turn off" back, there is an
illustration of what to do near the end of the article.
