I have a problem when trying to put an email address into the "To" box of an
email.
I open new message box.
Highlight "To" box
This then opens find names web page dialog box.
I then type in part of the name and hit the find button. This then shows me
all the names that I have chosen.
I now highlight the person and click the "add" button.
This should then populate the "To" box in my email but it doesn't anymore.
If I now close the email and open the draft copy the name is in the "To" box.
Also If I want to add an attachment it shows 2 of the same attachments in
the attachment box.
I have tried restoring to an earlier time but this doesn't work.

Since it sounds like you're using Outlook Web Access, I suggest you post
this in microsoft.public.exchange.clients. Mention what client OS and
browser version you are using, and your version of Exchange.

What email program? If Outlook or Outlook Express, ask the question in a
newsgroup for that program. That way you'll get expert attention for
that particular program (and I'm sorry, but I'm not expert in either
one so don't know your answer).

microsoft.public.outlook.general
microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general
