Overview:
- ScanSys is a utility that will scan your hard drive and detect changes
to your system files. ScanSys also allows you to log all your files
which will show you at a glance where all these .dll's and .vxd's came
from.

Requirements:
- ScanSys will run on Windows 95/98 and probably NT/2K, though I admit
I haven't tested that. ScanSys comes with updated runtime files. There
are no hardware requirements per se, but keep in mind that the slower
systems will take quite a while to scan. ScanSys runs great on a
233Mhz with 32meg of RAM, so anything in that ballpark probably won't
be a problem.

Limitations:
- This version of ScanSys will ONLY scan the "C:" drive for system
files. This will be changed in the near future. The paths and file
types ScanSys looks for can be changed in the Options Menu (see help
for more detail). While ScanSys can be uninstalled through the
Add/Remove Programs applet in the Control Panel, it is likely that:
1) The uninstaller will not remove the directory. If this happens,
simply delete the folder.
2) The registry entries will be left behind. This will not effect
anything. Should you desire to remove the old entries anyhow,
detailed instructions can be found in the ScanSys help.

Note:
- If you run a registry cleaning program there is a good chance that
some of the path information ScanSys uses will be removed. If this
should happen, check the "Set Directories" page of the Options form.
If the registry entries are removed, ScanSys will revert back to the
default directories. Simply re-select any custom directories before
you scan.
