I know this topic isn't related but wasn't sure where else to post it.
Hopefully, some of you have come across this. Where can I find an online
word processor? I just need something that allows me to create multiple
documents and access them from anywhere. Would be nice if the service is
free.

Thanks,
Brett

Try www.openoffice.org or http://www.abisource.com/

There aren't online word processors. They all require downloads. I'm
looking for a completely web based word processor.

Brett

As far as I know, there is no such on-line word processor.
You can find on-line HTML design wizards, such as Yahoo
Geocities offers for creating webpages. But why don't you
want to have the download once rather than always using the
slow Internet?

You can create a webpage for free on Geocities and keep your
files on-line, but unless you pay for the service you don't
have any security or privacy.

Do a Google for "on-line storage" and "web hosting" to find
what you want and what it will cost.

I think gooffice.com with do what I want, if I can ever get their login to
work.

Brett

I'll take your suggestion and just create my own for privacy and security.
I have a website to host it. All I really need is a large text area and
storage into a database. Notepad online basically. Actually, not even
Notepad.

Thanks,
Brett

All you are wanting is network storage, your issue is cost
and security. Your locally installed applications (word
processor, spreadsheets, HTML editors) will create files
which you will upload/download to the network server.
